Editorial Cartooning

"In an historic election year, your illustration was a snapshot that speaks 1,000 words.  Thank you for your time and your talent!"

Created for Terri McCormick in support of her Congressional campaign, this editorial cartoon is now a part of her article, "The Healthcare Cost Crisis: A Crisis of Entitlement or Personal Responsibility?" The article is appearing on upwards of 200 news outlets, including Fox Business News.

Risk: Launch Out Deeper

The sales and marketing gurus are all agreed: RISK is the name of the game. It's also more exciting and fun!

In the basement room which served as my first office, there hangs my favorite Melville quote and two prints: One a portrait of Melville and the other a vintage illustration of a ship tossed nearly sideways in some spot where ice floes are present. "...But as in landlessness alone resides the highest truth, shoreless, indefinite as God — so, better is it to perish in that howling infinite, than be ingloriously dashed upon the lee, even if that were safety!"

In Luke Chapter 5, I find it very cool that Jesus commanded them to "Put out into deep water, and let down the nets [one more time]" for the mother lode of fish. I say let's swim with the sharks (or at least the Walleyes) No risk, no reward [Gitomer]!

Living at risk is jumping off the cliff and building your wings on the way down.  - Ray Bradbury

I am always doing that which I cannot do, in order that I may learn how to do it.  - Pablo Picasso

Thanks to John Ernst Corporation, new samples were added to the Galleries this morning. Most went to the Design area, which was lean on print and marketing projects. Not that there aren't plenty to show!
