Here you will find humorous images and creations that are “behind the scenes” and “not intended for publication.” Most are the by-product of the creative process. When we brainstorm without placing limits on our ideas, we relax and let creativity flow. Many of the best solutions to design and illustration challenges originate here. The working rule of “no bad ideas” releases me to express my sense of humor without getting into too much trouble. By sketching out funny versions of “respectable” brands and boring cliches, I often arrive at brand new ways of problem-solving. And I have FUN while working!

Humorous Images Lessen Tension + Increase Productivity

My job is a lot of fun, so I will include images here that prove it. By creating joke logos, outrageous ideas, and just making fun of “serious” art once in a while, I can

  1. Arrive at real-world solutions to my customers’ problems.
  2. Compile a source — a sketchbook — of ideas for use in future projects.
  3. Express my disagreements without getting punched.
  4. Keep my sanity and sense of humor.

I hope you enjoy these peeks behind the scenes.

  • Scott is loaded with talent and his portfolio is proof of it. His illustrations are unique, imaginative, and simply amazing. Scott also excels in graphic design and is one of the most detailed designers I know. I give him my highest recommendation!

  • If you are seeking an illustrator to best capture your company's essence Scott is a great reference. He has completed several projects for Exhibit Resource and is easy to work with. His line of thinking is unique and unexpected but, in my opinion, very effective.

Jill Anderson, formerly with Skyline Exhibit Resource
  • Scott's one of the best in his field. No matter how difficult the illustration project I throw at him, he manages to come up with the perfect result. I'm always impressed by his craft. Best yet, he's just a good person and pleasure to work with.
